October News

October 7 - "Read for the Record" Day
Parents, commnity and volunters will read the book "The Snowy Day" to more than 2.5 million children around the country to set a new world record.

October 12 - Dia de la Raza

October 15 - Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration
We will have dishes from different hispanic/latin countries.Our children will dance typical music from their countries.

October 22 - Fall Festival
Music, Games and exhibitors will be in our center. From 2:30pm to 6:30 pm.

October 23 - Beauty-A-Thon.

Operation Storybook
Corporate and community volunteers will read and share stories with our children during a day-long Read-A-Thon in 17 Sheltering Arms across metro Atlanta. This year featured book is "How Tiger got his stripes". 
Come and join us in this even as a volunteer reader!

Pre-K Open House
All Pre-K parents will have the opportunity to see their children classroom and their daily activities. 

September 12
Grandparents Day
We will celebrate this special day(on sept. 13) with all our grandparents.
"Special people deserve a special day"

September 21
Parent class
Our parents will have a Car Seat Safety class.

We also want to celebrate the Hispanic Heritage Month.
From Sept. 15 to Oct. 15 all hispanic community will celebrate this special month. We want to thank all our hispanic and latin parents for all their support. Thank you!

In memory of all the people who lost their lives in the 
Sept. 11, 2001 attacks on the United States.
